Synopsis
The episode begins with the class heading out for recess to see the playground closed because of the mess left behind last night. Included are paw prints, meaning that the Wolfies are responsible; Connor, Amaya, and Greg conclude that they’re trying to find a new place to transform into their new den. That night, nothing comes up on the PJ Picture Player, so the PJ Masks search for them in the Owl-Glider.
Meanwhile, the Wolfies, who are walking by after finding more unsuitable places, hide in the bushes. After seeing the team fly off, they decide to use HQ as their new den and use a disguise to convince PJ Robot into letting them in. Once they appear through the elevators, PJ Robot quickly hides as they mess around and sends out a warning to the team.
The Wolfies find PJ Robot; intending to keep him as their Wolfy bot, they command him to do what they say unless he wants them to wreck the place. They trick him into locking HQ so the team won’t get in by messing with the PJ Picture Player, despite him stopping them from activating HQ’s rocket function. Later, he makes them shakes and serves them when the security cameras show that the team has returned and is trying to get in. To distract them, he plays some music for them to dance to, but they soon find out.
The Wolfies keep an eye on PJ Robot while trying to figure out how to prevent the team from getting in. A control they press opens up the cat flap that flings Gekko climbing up to the hatch away; Catboy and Owlette catch him. Before he can plan on swimming through the moat, the Wolfies have activated HQ’s rocket function. Realizing that they can use it to go to the moon and go full Wolfy, they attempt to find the blast-off button, only for HQ to fly and land on the other side of the moat.
Since PJ Robot is the team’s only chance of getting inside, and as long as the Wolfies don’t know how the controls work, they contact him to sneak away and stop HQ from blasting off. As the Wolfies eventually find the blast-off button, he arrives at Owlette’s base room and cuts off the engines through the computer there. Unfortunately, after they notice that he’s gone, they find him and realize what he’s doing. They attempt to catch him and crash into the computer, reactivating the engines just as the team arrives.
Owlette and Gekko try to hold HQ down using the Owl-Glider’s claws and Super Gekko Muscles while Catboy climbs up to enter through the cat flap. PJ Robot is shot out trying to take cover in the elevators from the Wolfies. Catboy catches him, and Owlette lets go of the structure to save them. The three safely land, and PJ Robot begins to go after it, although the team stops him as they can’t lose him as well, just as they’re losing HQ. They inform him that he did all that he could to help, apologize for placing him in danger, and are glad that they have each other.
PJ Robot comes up with a risky plan to catch up to HQ so he can take control again. The team flies up, and once they get as close as possible, Gekko throws him to the outside scanner, where he sets the coordinates to Earth. Thinking that they landed on the moon, the Wolfies exit to find the team catching up afterwards and confronting them. As they attempt to go back inside, PJ Robot controls the elevators to shoot them in the moat through the rooftop’s trap door. The PJ Masks reclaim their headquarters, express their gratitude to have him, and celebrate their victory.
