SynopsisThe episode starts off with an excited Amaya going with Connor and Greg to the Loop-de-Loop Airplane Show featuring different aircrafts. However, it’s been cancelled because the planes have disappeared, even though they were prepared last night. Left behind are Ninjalino footprints. Upon taking off in the Owl-Glider that night, the PJ Masks almost crash into the planes. Owlette spots the ninjas flying them with her Owl Eyes, and they confront them, with Night Ninja responding that he can fly better than anyone else. Despite the warning that Night Ninja always has some tricks, assuring the team that she’s a fantastic flyer than him, Owlette uses the Owl-Glider Turbo to catch up, then lowers down to shine the aircraft’s beams on the ninjas so they’ll be forced to land. They escape by performing an Aerial Maneuver 77 and release the Sticky Splat Grabbers to grab the vehicle. The ninjas pull the Owl-Glider around for a few moments, then retract the Splat Grabbers. Although Owlette manages to pull up at the last second, the aircraft crashes on top of the buildings and breaks down. The ninjas fly off with Night Ninja proclaiming to steal the rest of the flying vehicles from the air show and the town so he can become the best flyer ever, even better than her. Because of the incident, Owlette loses her confidence and refuses to chase Night Ninja, believing that she’s not as good at flying as he is. Catboy and Gekko don’t believe it and inform her that it wasn’t her fault that he made her crash. To help out, after returning the Owl-Glider to HQ, they take off in the museum’s plane with a couple of mishaps, Owlette flying beside them and telling them that they’ll definitely stop Night Ninja. They tell her that since she’s the flying expert, they’ll follow her. Before Owlette can protest, the team sees the ninjas surrounding the Hot Air Balloon in the air show grounds. She doesn’t respond on what to do, so the boys try flying in to stop them themselves, but they fly out of the way. With Catboy not knowing how to stop, they hit the balloon, get flung into the park, and roughly land. As the ninjas take off with it, Owlette, in shock of the rolls they did, catches up and apologizes for not helping them. Because they’re not good at flying, Catboy and Gekko persuade Owlette to help them. With her Owl Eyes, she finds the ninjas stealing the rocket ship model from the museum. She starts thinking of a plan, though changes her mind in fears that it won’t work. Catboy responds that they’ll think of something along the way, and the boys prepare to take off, but run into another mishap that causes the team to lose the ninjas when they finally manage to pull up. All that’s left is Night Ninja’s face cloud formation. Witnessing all of the flying stunts that Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos have done, a discouraged Owlette flies back to HQ so Catboy and Gekko can take on them without her. They protest, stating that she’s the best flyer that they know and that they need her to teach them how to fly to stop Night Ninja. Suddenly, the team notices the ninjas heading for them. Taking Catboy’s suggestion to hide behind the structure and surprise them, Owlette reluctantly has them follow her. However, the ninjas begin closing in. Catboy takes a look while at the same time letting go of the controls, causing the plane to fly out of control. As the chaos unfolds, the ninjas release the Splat Grabbers onto HQ so they can pull it down and destroy the Owl-Glider. Owlette eventually manages to prevent the plane from crashing into the structure. She saves Gekko when he falls out, then places him on one of the wings and stands on the other to stabilize the aircraft. With more of Catboy and Gekko’s support and encouragement, Owlette is finally convinced that they’re right. Despite Night Ninja outflying her earlier, she is still the best flyer ever, and she can prove it. As the team heads over, she notes the planes with the Splat Grabbers stuck on HQ. She quickly gets an idea and tells Catboy to follow her. With Owlette leading in her regained confidence, the team leads the ninjas on a chase until the former flies off and the latter stops right where they are. The ninjas’ struggle to follow the team causes the Splat Grabbers to unstick; they are flung off, forcing them to parachute down into the trees, where they get stuck. Owlette grabs the Splat Grabbers, hands them to Gekko, and the team returns to the air show grounds. As she is commended for being the best flyer ever in the end, they find the stolen aircrafts in the woods. After planning to return everything back to where they belong before daytime, the PJ Masks proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, the Loop-de-Loop Airplane Show is back on. Amazed from watching the planes, Connor, Amaya, and Greg pretend to fly around, ending the episode. Moral/Lesson
