SynopsisThe episode starts off with Connor and Amaya preparing their bikes for Sports Day. They hear strange sounds coming from the shed at Greg's House, and they walk over to open the door. Greg falls down from the other side as he tries pushing the door open. Connor and Amaya help him up, glad they could help out, and all agree that he is much stronger at night when he is Gekko. Greg adds on that he would not need any help from anyone. The kids arrive at the park. As Connor and Amaya place their bikes with the others, Greg attempts to lift his bike, but he throws it towards the other bikes, and they all fall down. Nobody besides Connor and Amaya notices, though, because Sports Day has been cancelled; all the sports equipment is gone. That night, the PJ Picture Player shows that it had been stored in the shed before the event. Gekko is determined to show how strong he is in getting the equipment back, and the PJ Masks take off in the Gekko-Mobile. Catboy hears with his Cat Ears various singing voices at the park. The PJ Masks leave the vehicle and travel into the forest to see Night Ninja reading while the Ninjalinos are exercising with the sports equipment. They need it so they can become Super Ninjalinos and be able to learn Night Ninja's ninja moves once they are strong enough. Catboy and Owlette start walking over to retrieve the equipment to prevent this from happening, but Gekko claims that he can do it by himself. Gekko takes a bicycle from a Ninjalino who is lifting a couple of them. A couple of Ninjalinos grab the bike, however, and throw him away. They then throw the balls at him, which causes him to slip on one of them and crash into his friends. The Ninjalinos march over to the next training spot, carrying the sports equipment and Night Ninja with them. Now aware that the Ninjalinos have gotten stronger, the PJ Masks will have to work together to take back the gear. Gekko refuses because he feels he will have to be stronger than the ninjas since they're smaller. A few moments later, Gekko builds a trap without letting Catboy and Owlette help. He is going to trap the Ninjalinos once they run over, and it will show everyone how strong he could be. Since this requires super strength, he declines any help from his friends. Catboy and Owlette hide behind the bushes, while Gekko walks over to the sports hall where Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos are now located. Gekko grabs the ninjas' attention by challenging them to a flex-off. He runs into the forest and activates his Super Gekko Camouflage. The Ninjalinos chase Gekko so they can show their improved strength. They reach the trap, and Gekko reappears, using his Super Gekko Muscles to close the trap and lift it off the ground. It works, until Night Ninja commands the Ninjalinos to jump. The trap lowers, but Gekko believes he can still handle it, despite Catboy and Owlette's offer to help. The trap eventually hits the ground, though, and he is pulled up while the Ninjalinos are freed. Catboy and Owlette get ready to face Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos. Gekko jumps down, still determined to take them on himself, but the Ninjalinos grab him and treat him as a sports equipment. Catboy and Owlette try to rescue him, but a couple of Ninjalinos push them back. The Ninjalinos then throw Gekko away, and all the ninjas run off while the team catches him. Gekko is upset; he wanted to show everyone that he is super strong, but he did not let his friends help out. As a result, the Ninjalinos are now Super Ninjalinos, and the team will never get the sports equipment back, and therefore never defeat them. However, Gekko realizes that the Super Ninjalinos are strong, especially when they are together. With that in mind, he comes up with a plan that involves working together. One transition later, the PJ Masks find an old and broken jump rope, a broken bike, and a burst beach ball. They go over to the ninjas in the forest and offer them the broken gear, to which Night Ninja accepts. The Super Ninjalinos eagerly go after it, but the team splits up, causing them to separate into smaller groups. This makes them weaker, which enables Catboy and Owlette to bring each group over to Gekko. He throws them in the trap, which is hanging on a tree this time, and the Ninjalinos are defeated. Night Ninja complains that he is the one who the Ninjalinos should be practicing with. Owlette fulfills his request by throwing the ninjas out of the trap. They pile up on top of him, then run off to practice with him, despite his objections not to practice with them all at once. Now that the PJ Masks have the sports equipment, the Ninjalinos will lose their strength over time, and they shout out their signature victory phrase. The next day, Sports Day is back on at the park. Greg attempts to lift his bike again, but this time with Connor and Amaya’s help. The kids agree that as long as he has his friends to help him out, Greg doesn’t need to be that strong, and they laugh together. Moral/Lesson
