Synopsis
The episode starts off with Connor and Amaya waiting for Greg as he finds his things. He finally comes out, though without a wooden spoon for the attempt to break the world record for biggest omelet because he can’t find it. Connor and Amaya joke about how he keeps losing things, much to his chagrin. Later at school, the teacher announces that the attempt has to be delayed since the eggs are missing.
That night, the PJ Masks drive out in the Gekko-Mobile, which picks up something weird. They stop to look for the source and smell something bad. Gekko drives off to park somewhere first before joining Catboy and Owlette in following the smell, scoffing at their teasing for forgetting where he’ll leave his vehicle. He turns to see Romeo with the stolen eggs and a new invention: the Rottenator.
An egg enters the machine and pops out spoiled. Romeo fires it towards Gekko, then chases him when he reverses upon smelling it, spoiling and firing more eggs at him. Gekko eventually parks at the side, enables the camouflage feature, and is about to remove the eggs that hit his vehicle during his escape attempt when Romeo catches up. He explains that he’s spoiling the eggs and smashing them, leaving a smell that'll force everyone to stay inside, and he can take control. Romeo resumes firing the eggs at Gekko until he manages to hide.
Gekko runs out to find his vehicle, but he doesn’t remember where he left it. Catboy and Owlette arrive and ask where it is so they can escape the scent. Romeo also arrives and turns his Rottenator up. Just as Gekko claims that the team can handle the smell without the Gekko-Mobile, the eggs are smashed, leaving a scent worse than that of the previous ones. He shouts out to hide, and the team runs away as Romeo continues firing more spoiled eggs until they reach the museum.
Romeo shortly catches up, worsens the eggs’ condition, and fires one of the finished eggs. Refusing to admit what happened to the Gekko-Mobile, Gekko grabs the Pterodactyl model and hits the egg with it, then wafts the smell away once it breaks with his Super Strength. However, another egg hits him, forcing him to run inside so he can remove it. Catboy and Owlette follow, telling him that he needs to be washed down with the Gekko-Mobile’s water jet, and ask if he actually lost the vehicle.
Gekko doesn’t answer; instead, he grabs the giant dinosaur egg and advances towards Romeo, planning to threaten that he’ll egg him with it in hopes that he would back off. Romeo is amazed by its size; considering that it already stinks because of its age, he can worsen the smell with the Rottenator. He fires an egg in Gekko’s path, causing him to slip and drop the ancient egg. He catches it and leaves to further spoil it so he can break it, which will release an unbearable smell that’ll force everyone to stay inside, and he can rule the world.
This leaves Gekko finally admitting to Catboy and Owlette about losing the Gekko-Mobile. The reason why he didn’t tell the truth is because he feels that they always think he’s losing things. They apologize and explain that they were only kidding because of what happened that morning. They agree to help him find his vehicle; to do so, although it’s invisible, Owlette finds the eggs on it with her Owl Eyes. Once they’re removed and the camouflage feature is disabled, the team races after Romeo.
The Rottenator soon finishes spoiling the giant dinosaur egg. Romeo launches it, and Gekko attempts to catch it using the Swing-and-Fling feature, but it rolls back to Romeo. After two more failed attempts, Gekko lets it roll off the tail and uses the jet spray to catch it. While Owlette retrieves the egg, he then points the tail at Romeo before he could smash it. Romeo abruptly stops, causing the eggs to fall and break in his lab. He is forced to escape.
The PJ Masks revert the dinosaur egg back to normal, then plan to return it to the museum and wash the city with the Gekko-Mobile's water jet. They proclaim their signature victory phrase. The next day, the class has bought new eggs for their attempt to break the world record for largest omelet. Once Greg cracks the first egg open, he, Connor, and Amaya smell the air and sigh in relief as it’s not a bad one. They start laughing as the class looks at each other, ending the episode.
