  • Catboy
  • Romeo

Synopsis

Catboy introduces himself to the viewers as he runs around the town. He states that when the PJ Masks face-off towards a villain, they usually have a plan. Suddenly, a laser fires and hits one of the buildings behind him, turning a part of it purple. It reveals that Romeo is the source of the laser. He invented a new machine, the Rainbow-matic, presumably to color the whole town. Now aiming the laser at Catboy, Catboy proclaims to the viewers that Romeo cannot zap him since he has his Super Cat Speed, and asks them to watch. He then starts running from Romeo's laser as Romeo attempts to zap him. After a few seconds, Romeo manages to zap Catboy's tail, turning it orange. In response, Catboy stops right where he is and grabs it, giving Romeo a chance to get ready and zap him, with Catboy commenting how his plan did not go so well.

Rewinding back to the time before Catboy starts avoiding Romeo's laser, Catboy explains to the viewers that if the first plan did not work, you should "think fast, be on your toes, and come up with something new." With that, Catboy starts to use his Super Cat Jump. In response, Romeo starts firing his invention, coloring most of the town behind him. As he stops, though, it reveals that Catboy did not jump at all. Soon enough, Catboy then leaps towards Romeo as Romeo attempts to zap him again and lands. Then, he uses his Super Cat Speed to run in a circle around Romeo and his invention. This makes Romeo dizzy and fall down, giving Catboy a chance to grab the remote from him. He soon sets the machine to reverse and fires it towards the town, turning it back to its respective colors. Angered by this, Romeo demands Catboy to give him his remote back. However, Romeo does not realize that Catboy pressed one of the buttons on his remote as he quickly grabs it from him until he speeds away and he gets zapped himself, turning his hair purple.

Romeo is upset about this, claiming that Catboy cheated. Catboy refutes this, though, saying that he only improvised, and proudly smiles, saying "and that's how to be a hero," ending the short.

Moral/Lesson

This short teaches that if you're first idea doesn't work, improvising may bring a better result.
